About Matt & Krystal

Oh, hi, wow, what do we type here? I mean, I guess we could go on and on about wanting to "capture moments" and "wanting to be part of your special day!!!" but that sounds almost kind of creepy, doesn't it? We're not that photographer.

We've established that we're not stalkers. Off to a good start. So we could talk about degrees and awards and qualifications and stuff, and while yes, we've got lots (scroll down), we really just want to make sure you like our pictures and like us. So, if that's the case, please give us a ring.

I guess mainly we just don't want to be the kind of wedding photographers you roll your eyes at.

So..what do we do? Okay, here's the quick run down:

Krystal: Degree in photojournalism from the University of Florida. She was in the US Army for nine years, and they sent her to Bosnia, Kosovo, Ecuador, and other places to take pictures. Weddings are kinda like that, except less sniper-fire.

Matt: Huge wuss. No ARMY TRAINING. Has some kinda electrical engineering graduate degrees but now takes pictures at weddings. Kinda good at all that digital and picture-taking stuff, though.

We live in Gainesville and/or Jacksonville, Florida but we travel for about 80% of our weddings. Anywhere in Florida, anywhere in the US, anywhere in the world...not a problem. We are very used to traveling for weddings, so rest assured.
